Stag Walkers Social: World Cup England vs Croatia
Join us at The Orange Tree in Hitchin, where we are swapping open fields, muddy paths and rolling hills for a different kind of field, as we get together to watch England vs Croatia in the World Cup.
Watch England's first match of the tournament, where the terrain is flat, the refreshments are close at hand, and the biggest challenge will be keeping referee-related opinions reasonably polite. Whether you’re a devoted football fan, a fair-weather supporter, or simply in it for the company, you’ll be very welcome.
Expect banter, questionable punditry, and none of the usual worries about muddy boots or steep climbs. Instead, we’ll be tackling the emotional ups and downs of supporting England, which can be every bit as demanding as a long walk in the countryside.
Come along for the match and a great evening with fellow hikers — no waterproofs or walking poles required.
