Stag Walkers Social: The Libertines - Hitchin Live at The Priory

Stag Walkers are heading out for a special Bank Holiday weekend social to Hitchin Priory on Saturday 29th August for Hitchin Live at the Priory – an open-air summer concert featuring The Libertines headlining with support from Maxïmo Park, Reverend and The Makers, Mystery Jets and The Ramona Flowers.

The Libertines have become one of Britain’s most iconic and influential bands. From their landmark debut Up The Bracket to 2023’s acclaimed return All Quiet on the Eastern Esplanade, their raw energy, poetic grit and electrifying live shows have defined a generation. With the unmistakable chemistry of Pete Doherty and Carl Barat at its core, the band remains as vital and compelling as ever.

Set within the breath-taking Grade I listed grounds of Hitchin Priory, this open-air Summer concert promises a full day of live music with festival-scale production in a special heritage setting.

Early Entry Tier 1 tickets (£50.63 – must arrive before 3:30 pm)

General Admission Tier 1 (£55.69 – must arrive before 7:30 pm)

This is likely to be a very popular event with the cheapest Tier 1 tickets currently available, with ticket prices going up in price as the event gets nearer with a chance the event could sell out.

Location

We plan to meet at the nearby Half Moon Pub 57 Queen St, Hitchin SG4 9TZ at 1:30 pm before walking up to the festival.

If you’re arriving later, we’ll share our live location so you can meet us inside the event.

· The event is a 15 minute walk from Hitchin station.

· Local car parks are available in the area.

• UPDATE YOUR RSVP. We understand ‘life happens’ so if you need to change your RSVP please do this at least 24 hours before the event and before booking closes to enable someone else to take your place.

• DON’T NO-SHOW on the day unless it is absolutely unavoidable (we do understand ‘life happens’) because it prevents others from enjoying an event if it is fully booked.

• TAKE NOTE that if you no-show three times, without extenuating circumstances, we will decline further bookings from you for a period of six weeks.

• DO car-share or use public transport if possible. To offer a lift or ask for one from a fellow walker, please use the Meetup event page.

• FOLLOW NHS guidelines and do not attend the event if you are unwell.

About the organisers

Stag Walkers is a Ramblers group aimed mainly at people in their 20s and 30s but all are welcome and we have members of all ages. We run weekly walks, on Saturdays or Sundays, varying in length from around 5 to 15 miles, and we host regular social nights. Walks and socials generally take place across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and south Cambridgeshire.
