Stag Walkers Social: Letchworth Food, Drink and Classic Car Festival

Join us for a relaxed day out at the Letchworth Food, Drink and Classic Car Festival on Sunday 24th May. We will meet at 13:00 outside the Broadway Cinema, before taking a short walk to the festival.

This popular annual event brings together a vibrant mix of street food vendors, artisan stalls, and classic car displays, creating a lively festival atmosphere in the town centre.

We’ll explore a wide variety of global food options (from Mediterranean and BBQ to sweet treats), check out the vintage and classic cars on show, and enjoy live music and entertainment throughout the day.

There are also a number of gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options available.

Booking your place

The event is for 20 people including the host.

If you wish to attend, please let us know you’re coming via the Stag Walkers Meetup group by clicking the ‘Attend’ button on the event page. You will automatically be added to the waitlist if places are full.

If you cannot make it on the day, please remember to edit your RSVP to allow others the chance to book their place particularly for those who are on the waitlist.

It is a 5 minute walk from Letchworth Railway Station.

The Garden Square multi-storey car park (Rowland Way SG6 3JF) is open until 19:00 and The Euro Car Park next to The Wynd (just off Openshaw Way) is approximately an 8 minute walk from the town centre.

Please:

• DO NOT book onto an event unless you are pretty sure you will be able to make it.

• UPDATE YOUR RSVP. We understand ‘life happens’ so if you need to change your RSVP please do this at least 24 hours before the event and before booking closes to enable someone else to take your place.

• DON’T NO-SHOW on the day unless it is absolutely unavoidable (we do understand ‘life happens’) because it prevents others from enjoying an event if it is fully booked.

• TAKE NOTE that if you no-show three times, without extenuating circumstances, we will decline further bookings from you for a period of six weeks.

• DO car-share or use public transport if possible. To offer a lift or ask for one from a fellow walker, please use the Meetup event page.

• FOLLOW NHS guidelines and do not attend the event if you are unwell.

About the organisers

Stag Walkers is a Ramblers group aimed mainly at people in their 20s and 30s but all are welcome and we have members of all ages. We run weekly walks, on Saturdays or Sundays, varying in length from around 5 to 15 miles, and we host regular social nights. Walks and socials generally take place across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and south Cambridgeshire.
