Stag Walkers Social: Author Talk - Jack Cornish on The Lost Paths

Join us at David’s Bookshop in Letchworth to hear author Jack Cornish in conversation about his book The Lost Paths.

The Lost Paths is a personal journey and exploration of the deep history of English and Welsh paths and how this millennia-old network was created, has evolved, and been transformed.

Jack will also talk about The Icknield Way by Edward Thomas, which he has written a new introduction to,

As well as being an author and keen walker (in 2017 he walked from Land’s End to John O’Groats and he is now attempting to walk every street in London), Jack is Director of England at the Ramblers, leading the work to protect, expand and improve our path network.

This is sure to be an interesting evening for everyone who loves walking our paths!

We'll aim to meet in front of the shop at 6.30.

Nearby parking free after 6pm at Town Hall Car Park, Broadway, Letchworth Garden City SG6 3BX or 3 minutes' walk from Letchworth Garden City railway station.

About Stag Walkers
Stag Walkers is a Ramblers group aimed mainly at people in their 20s and 30s but all are welcome and we have members of all ages. We run weekly walks, on Saturdays or Sundays, varying in length from around 5 to 15 miles, and we host regular social nights. Walks and socials generally take place across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and south Cambridgeshire.
