Stag Walkers Outdoor Cinema Social: Mamma Mia! at Hitchin Lavender

Get ready to sing, dance, and celebrate the joy of Mamma Mia! as Sundown Cinema invites you to an unforgettable outdoor screening under the night sky! Join Stag Walkers as we watch this classic musical against the stunning backdrop of Hitchin Lavender Fields. Singing along is optional!

Set against the backdrop of a sun-drenched Greek island, follow Sophie’s heartwarming journey as she searches for her father before her wedding, with the help of her free-spirited mother, played by the incomparable Meryl Streep. The open-air cinema will take you away to a place where the timeless music of ABBA fills the air.

We will meet at in the field at 7:00 where we can grab food and a drink, before the film starts at 8:45.

Remember to bring a camping chair, snacks and a blanket or a jacket, as the evening could get chilly!

There is a large car park on the site, and it is recommended that attendees drive to the event or take a taxi, as the location is far from public transport.

• DO NOT book onto an event unless you are pretty sure you will be able to make it.
• UPDATE YOUR RSVP. We understand ‘life happens’ so if you need to change your RSVP please do this at least 24 hours before the event and before booking closes to enable someone else to take your place.
• DON’T NO-SHOW on the day unless it is absolutely unavoidable (we do understand ‘life happens’) because it prevents others from enjoying an event if it is fully booked.
• TAKE NOTE that if you no-show three times, without extenuating circumstances, we will decline further bookings from you for a period of six weeks.
• DO car-share or use public transport if possible. To offer a lift or ask for one from a fellow walker, please use the Meetup event page.
• FOLLOW NHS guidelines and do not attend the event if you are unwell.

About the organisers

Stag Walkers is a Ramblers group aimed mainly at people in their 20s and 30s but all are welcome and we have members of all ages. We run weekly walks, on Saturdays or Sundays, varying in length from around 5 to 15 miles, and we host regular social nights. Walks and socials generally take place across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and south Cambridgeshire.
