Shuttleworth in Lights Walk & Social (9.5 mi / 15 km, Moderate, Booking Required)

This walk is for up to 15 people, including the leader.

In this combined walk and social we set off from Biggleswade Station to visit the "Shuttleworth in Lights" event. Please make sure to book your tickets ASAP here at: https://www.shuttleworth.org/product/sil24/ for 8th December at 5:50pm.

We will start the walk by setting off in the afternoon from Biggleswade Station and walk along the Ivel river towards Jordans Mill.

Shortly afterwards, we will pass through the village of Broom on our way to Warden Warren Wood enriched with tall pine trees. We will then find our way down towards the quaint village of Old Warden where we can enjoy the warmth of the Hare and Hounds pub as darkness descends.

Nearer to 6pm and very likely wearing our headtorches we will head to Shuttleworth where we will visit Shuttleworth in Lights, where the Shuttleworth collection and Swiss Garden will be illuminated in a wonderful display of big, bold, colour, showcasing the wonderful natural features of our landscape and heritage.

Afterwards, we will make our way back aided by our headtorches via Broom lakes and back into Biggleswade.

Dogs are welcome on a lead.

Booking your place: Please book your place using the free Meetup website/app. Join the Stag Walkers Meetup group and click the 'Attend' button on the event page.

Please do not turn up for a walk without booking, as places are limited.
If the walk is fully booked, click 'join waitlist' to get a place if one becomes available and please check back regularly in case you do get a place. The waitlist gives priority to single bookings so if you wish to bring a guest, we recommend booking separately.
