Introductory Walk: Kimpton Afternoon Walk (5.5 miles / 9 km, Leisurely, Booking Required)

This walk is for up to 30 people, including the leader.

Join us for the second of two walks from Kimpton today. You're welcome to join either of the walks, or both if you want to get some extra miles in.

This is an introductory walk. It has a relatively short length and leisurely grade, and as such it may be a great choice if you're new to Stag Walkers and would like to try us out. Existing members are also welcome along.

Kimpton is a lovely old village which is mentioned in the Domesday book, easily accessible with bus links from Luton, Hitchin, Stevenage, St Albans and Welwyn Garden City.

In this leisurely walk we will explore the countryside north-west of Kimpton. We will walk past the village church, and then alongside the cricket ground as we head to Pancake Wood.

The woodlands then give way to stunning views over the rolling hills of the North Hertfordshire countryside, before we make our way back to the village potentially for a refreshment and some warmth at the local pub.

Dogs are welcome on a lead.
