Cold Christmas and the Rib Valley (5.5 miles/9 km - Leisurely, Booking Required)

This walk is for up to 15 people, including the leader.

Join us for a short morning walk ideal for the festive season!

This circular route from Wadesmill/Thundridge will take us through undulating countryside with great views, as we trace the valley of the River Rib. Along the way we'll also pass landcaped parkland, two fords, pretty woodland, the ruins of old Thundridge church and the festively named hamlet of Cold Christmas! And despite being in Hertfordshire, we’ll also see Mountains!

Back in the village there'll be the choice between Ermine's Cafe and The Feathers pub for post-walk refreshments.

Likely to be muddy in places on the walk so appropriate footwear recommended.

Dogs are welcome, on a lead.
