Cambridge's Forgotten Railway (7 miles / 11.5km - Leisurely, Booking Required)

This is a joint walk led by Walk Cambridge. There are 15 places for each group, including 2 leaders.

The walk crosses the River Cam via the new footbridge before following the route of the former Cambridge to Mildenhall railway line through Fen Ditton and beyond. We then take the ever-narrowing Low Fen Drove Way, giving us another brief encounter with the trackbed. We return along the Cam via Fen Ditton, stopping at the Plough for drinks.

There are no shops on the route so please make sure that you bring a packed lunch.

There may be cows on Ditton Meadow so please do not bring dogs on this walk.

Booking your place: If you would like to join, you must book in advance using the Stag Walkers Meetup group - see Notes for how to book & what to bring. If you are unable to attend, please cancel your booking so that someone else can take your place.

Please do not turn up for a walk without booking, as places are limited.
