About Us
About Stag Walkers
Stag Walkers is a friendly and sociable walking group aimed at people in their 20s and 30s (and a bit beyond) which offers a variety of walks and social events in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire. We are run by a small number of volunteers, and are part of the Ramblers, Britain's walking charity. So why join us? We're glad you asked!
🍃 Explore our beautiful countryside
We enjoy sharing the places we love to walk, and having fun while doing it. We have easy access to miles of footpaths, bridleways and other paths in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire, so there’s always a new place to explore.
🙋 Make new friends
We are around 200 people in our 20s to early 40s who enjoy walking and socialising. Most of our walks end at a pub, or have a pub-stop in the middle. Our walks are a great way to get to know fellow members.
🥾 Get some exercise
Getting fit doesn’t have to be boring! Join us for a walk and improve your health while having fun. There’s something for everyone with leisurely walks from 5 miles, to moderate 8 or 9 milers, and even strenuous hikes of over 15 miles.
🎉 Try us for free
You are welcome to give us a go risk-free! You can try up to three group walks with the Ramblers before deciding whether to become a member.

Group Charter
We ask that all Stag Walkers members abide by our group charter.

Group rules
Stag Walkers has established a simple set of rules to ensure both our online channels (e.g. Meetup, Facebook) and our walks are welcoming and a safe place for all our members.

Ramblers Area
Stag Walkers is one of the Ramblers groups in the Hertfordshire and North Middlesex Area.
What does our Area do? It supports its groups and members through its elected Area Council and a regular journal called Stile, and helps to protect and enhance the rights of way in Hertfordshire, Barnet, Enfield and Haringey. Our Area helps to protect the countryside in which we walk, through the planning system, and also runs events, such as the Hertfordshire and North London Walks Fest. It's another great way to get involved.
Visit their web page to check out the latest Area news and campaigns.
